Download a Daisy version for OSX below.

If you get the message that the file can't be opened because it is from an "unidentified developer", open System Preferences, select Security & Privacy, and click on Open Anyway.

To run Daisy, we suggest you install the TextMate 2.0 editor, and (afterwards) support files for running Daisy.

To test that you have installed everything correctly:

  1. Create a new folder on the desktop (Control click on the desktop and select New Folder).
  2. Copy the file /Library/Daisy/sample/test.dai to the new folder:
    • Open Finder, select Go -> Go to Folder..., enter /Library/Daisy/sample to find the file.
  3. Open the (copy of) test.dai in TextMate.
  4. Hold down CMD and press R.
  5. A new window with a Daisy simulation should pop up.
