Running Daisy

Daisy does not have a graphical user interface (GUI). It is typically run from within Visual Studio Code using the Daisy VSCode extension.

See the guide on setting up Visual Studio Code for Daisy.

Similarly, output is analyzed using a spreadsheet like Excel or Libre Office, or other general purpose tools such as R or Python. R based visualization tools for Daisy can be fetched here

Documentation

Each release includes:

  • A version-specific Reference Manual
  • An Introduction to Daisy (exercises)
  • A Tutorial
We recommend that new users first ensure they can run a Daisy simulation and view the output in a spreadsheet, then skim the tutorial and complete the exercises.
